Attention! I have a new phone number, so please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for it if you want to talk over the phone about your bow/order/warranty! Also, please view the "NEWS" section for new price changes and design alterations for the Fall of 2012!
When I started in archery, it was nearly impossible to find a bow that was reasonably priced but also fast and stable. From there on, I began building my own bows in search of a fast longbow at the most reasonable price. That goal has led me to creating my Omega Longbows. These high performance hybrids are built with performance, durability, and cost at the main front, in the hopes of creating a weapon where everyone can afford a high performance hunting bow. I didn't want another bow where cost limited speed and power available, after all archery should be for everyone, not just those with deep pockets. If you would like to inquire, place an order, or further discuss these bows, please email me at email@example.com
"A bow for hunting must be durable, steady, accurate, gentle in the hand, and smooth on the draw, yet with enough speed of cast and follow-through to throw a heavy arrow." - Howard Hill, Hunting the Hard Way
After many years of seeking the most efficient design to balance all of the properties I wanted in a bow, I found it only fitting to name the design "Omega" to symbolize the final design after years of experimentation and work. Although I continue to seek the best materials and methods to build my bows, the design remains the same: the final culmination of much work and careful observation. These bows are the final step of progression, and the ultimate design for what I feel to be the perfect hunting weapon.
The hybrid longbow, or semi-recurve as it used to be called, is an exceptional balance of performance and durability. Unlike straight longbows, these bows boast incredible speeds and low hand shock. Unlike true recurves, these bows resist twisting and can take much more abuse than the thin, wide limbs commonly used in those types of bows. The hardwood limbs and riser allow for stability and ruggedness while also being easier to build than thin or severely curved recurve limbs. All of this means more for your dollar. Honest American hand craftsmanship gives you an exceptional weapon as well, and the warranty guaruntees you get the most from your weapon.
